We’ve had an absolutely superb July this year, with moderate weather, abundant wildflowers, and green, green grass. It doesn’t get much better than this in southwestern North Dakota. Here is another batch of photos from our road trip, taken July 13th in Theodore Roosevelt National Park.
We were treated to views of all kinds of wildlife, including these buffalo, which I decided to try with different filters in my computer.

I had so much fun with filters on the buffalo that I had to try them on the Badlands as well. It helps that they already have an other-worldly look to them, don’t you think?
