I had a chance to talk to a bunch of art students yesterday during the reception for my “Prairie Territory” exhibit. It was fun to hear what they thought and what they were curious about, and I hope that they received some benefit from my experience.

The Arts Roundup at DSU

Monday, July 5th, 2010

I thoroughly enjoyed the Arts Roundup at DSU on July 2nd and 3rd. It was great to meet Sheila Rieman, Randall Kohl, and April Barnhart, as well as Kevin Holten and the friendly people who provided assistance at the Alumni Foundation Center. It was a pleasant surprise to learn that the Dickinson State University Alumni Association has purchased my “Prairie Hill” drawing. I’m glad it will be in a public collection. Here are some photos of the event.
