Wednesday, April 14th, 2010My new art portfolio book arrived today, and I’m very pleased with it. It is titled “A North Dakota Portfolio” and is for sale at www.blurb.com. You can preview all the pages online, which is a great feature. It is a combination of my badlands and prairie drawings, along with my colorful “Equus” series.
Horse Portfolio is Published
Saturday, January 17th, 2009I received my first book publishing project back from Blurb.com today, a book of my favorite horse photographs. Its title is Horse Portfolio: Photographs from The Prairie Walker Blog.
I can’t believe how fast this project went, from the creating to the printing stage. It was uploaded to Blurb.com just this Tuesday! Anyway, it’s a thrill to hold my own hardcover book, and I hope to produce portfolios of other photographs and art down the road. Horses with purple necks, orange manes, red backs, blue heads, turquoise bodies, and green noses appear in this vibrant portfolio by artist and photographer Cris Fulton. The photographs first appeared in her Prairie Walker blog, and have been modified and enhanced to bring out the beautiful and mysterious qualities she perceives in the horse.
